The Creative Journey (CJ) Chorale was first established by the Creative Journey
Trust in 2009. The CJ Chorale is made up of Christians from many Chinese
churches throughout Auckland. Central to each member is the belief that:
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you
were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is
over all and through all and in all." - Ephesians 4:4-6.
 

Through the faith in Jesus Christ and diversity of its members, the CJ Chorale
organically produces a unique melody and essence. CJ often sings choral
pieces in Mandarin, however, they are often chosen from a broad spectrum.
These choral pieces are deliberately chosen to challenge the fleeting ideology
of this generation with the eternal life found in Jesus Christ. Pastor Peter Chung
and Pastor Meiying Lau are primarily responsible for conducting, mentoring and
pastoring the chorale, with the administrative assistance of Timothy Sze.

Since 2009, CJ Chorale has been actively engaged in several sacred music ministries.
